sig 365xl vs glock 43x

Sig 365xl Vs Glock 43x - The concealed carry market has never been larger. At this point, we have hundreds of tools to choose from. We've seen the emergence of a new type of concealed-carry weapon. A weapon that is slightly larger than a high-performance pocket pistol and easier to hold. This new type of concealed carry pistol increases the effectiveness of a slim, compact handgun that is easy to carry and can hold ten or more rounds in most situations. SIG Sauer started this new trend with the SIG P365 and the industry quickly followed suit. About a year later, Glock hit us with the redesigned Glock 43X. They took the Glock 43, lengthened the grip to accommodate ten rounds, and produced a pistol that could rival the SIG P365. Is it? This is what we are here to understand today.

What the P365 and Glock 43X Have in Common Before we throw these two pistols at each other, I want to talk about what they have in common.

Both guns are 9mm traumatic pistols. Both use a half-percussion striker and both are fed from a box magazine. These guns are small, thin and light. Designed to be easy to carry and conceal for everyday use. The Glock 43X and SIG P365 both come from trusted companies with stellar reputations for quality, accuracy, and reliability. SIG and Glock are constantly competing for market share in a crowded market for military, police and civilian procurement. No matter what gun you buy, you will have a great firearm.

Showcase Size When it comes to concealed carry, the size and weight of a firearm make all the difference when it comes to everyday concealed carry. When we look at these two gadgets, small differences can make all the difference when it comes to everyday carry.

The Glock 43X has a slightly longer barrel at 3.41 inches compared to SIG's 3.1 inch barrel. In overall length we see a big difference, and the Glock 43X measures 6.5 inches compared to the P365's 5.8 inches. The Glock also weighs 23.07 ounces compared to the lighter P365 at 17.8 ounces. Overall, the Glock 43X is a larger and heavier firearm. This makes handling and shooting easier. It also has a longer sighting radius, which makes it easier to shoot the gun. However, the SIG's small size makes it easy to carry every day.

Capacity Comparison The great thing about these guns is that they are not much larger than pocket pistols, but they hold 40% more cartridges than a standard pistol. Both rifles come with ten round magazines. Glock 43X magazines are separate from the Glock 43 and Glock 43 extended magazines will not work with them. The main feature of the SIG P365 is the ability to use 12 or even 15 round magazines. These are SIG OEM magazines and allow for a larger capacity than the Glock 43X. These magazines make the gun longer and heavier, but for some, the capacity may be higher.

Ergonomics The ergonomics of the gun are similar. They do not have a manual safety, but SIG does have a separate model with a manual safety designed for Massachusetts. The work environment can be very personal to some people, so this may be something you will have to decide on your own. There are a few things I like about the ergonomics of both rifles, which we will talk about now.

Both guns have no serrations, even with the top grips. The original Glock 43 eats into my hand, but the 43X has a much longer beaver tail which I really like. This helps protect my hand and provides more leverage on the gun on recoil. The SIG P365 does not have a longer beaver, but it does not bite the hand. What I like about the P365 is the cutout near the trigger. This allows for a high, comfortable grip for increased control and accuracy. Both rifles have reversible magazine releases. The Glock 43X features the same front and rear lugs as the SIG P365. The tools are also simple and easy to use. Both weapons are easy to control, the weapons are intuitive and easy to shoot.

Precision and Trigger Both rifles are precision pistols. You will have no problem reaching your goal. Which gun is more accurate? In my experience, I find the SIG P365 easier to shoot accurately, especially at longer ranges.

With a recoil of 25 or even 35 yards, I have no problem putting ten rounds in the target box. My Glock 43X and I had spent little time together, but at 35 yards I was struggling to get good balls into the target box. The main reasons are the extremely bad looks that include Glock in their arsenal. The SIG P365’s trigger is also smoother, which helps the gun’s accuracy a bit. The sights on the P365 are amazing and they make it easy to shoot. In terms of speed and accuracy, I found both rifles to be pretty nice when it comes to double tap, Mozambique and other speed-based drills.

The P365 comes with two round magazines, one clear and one with a pink extension. It also comes with SIG's XRAY3 sights that provide day and night vision. They have a tritium insert in the sights and a green ring around the front sight that includes a nicely sized green insert for quick front sight removal. One of the main features of the SIG P365 is its removable fire control unit and easy switching between frames. Mine is currently housed in a SIG P365 frame from Icarus Precision, which offers slightly more grip for my size 2XL. Being able to swap tires easily is a great concept and I hope to see more of it in the future.

Which one is for you? Both weapons are excellent weapons. Both are incredibly reliable and have the potential to give you an edge as a stealth carrier. I prefer the P365, but if you carry a Glock 43X you are still well armed. The P365 offers more features, and if you want more power. I had no problem holding a gun or trusting my life either. I think the biggest decision will be personal preference. P365 does more for me.
